OEE Software for Aerospace Manufacturing and CNC MachiningA stop mid-cycle is easy to miss. See it per machine.

Fabrico measures OEE on machining centers, lathes and grinders, from the PLC or a sensor, even during a long program. Maintenance is built in.

  • PLC or sensor, older CNC too
  • Stops logged with nobody at the machine
  • ISO/IEC 27001

Long cycles, older and newer CNC

Each stop on a connected machine comes from its signal, so it's on record during a long program. The machinist adds what the signal can't know: the cause.

Downtime tracking for high-mix machining

Stops come from machine data, and the machinist picks the cause on a tablet or phone. Downtime by cause ranks the reasons.

Setups, fixtures and waiting

Tagged setups show per machine, apart from breakdowns. Waiting for first article inspection, a program or material gets its own cause.

FAQs

How long does a rollout take?

With hardware, installing and connecting the devices takes about 1 month, and the full rollout takes 3 to 4 months.

Is Fabrico a full MES?

No. Fabrico covers the monitoring and OEE side of MES: machine data, downtime, OEE and the maintenance work that follows. Production planning and scheduling is on our roadmap and is not part of the product today.

Do machinists need a PC at the machine?

No. The iOS and Android apps run on a tablet or phone, and the web app in a browser.

More detail

Micro-stops, built-in maintenance and machine history

Fabrico detects short stops to clear chips or check a tool, and adds them up per machine on the OEE dashboard. A technician opens a work order from the stop. Spindle checks and coolant service sit in the annual PM plan, and each machine has its record and repair history behind a QR code. Our calculator prices your production losses.

Multi-plant, ERP, IT and security

A group account brings several plants into one view with cross-plant reports. A REST API, webhooks and Zapier, and a connection to SAP or another ERP can be scoped per customer; SSO through SAML as a custom integration; audit log. The PLC link speaks OPC UA, Modbus, PROFIBUS, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP and EtherCAT. ISO/IEC 27001, GDPR with a DPA, hosting in the AWS EU region. Compare tools in our OEE software guide.
