Fabrico MES and OEE software calculates availability, performance and quality for each line and shift, live from your machine signals. While the shift is still running, supervisors see which machine is losing time and the cause the operator tagged for each stop.
Fabrico is a perfect investment for the company, bringing significant savings at a reasonable price.Capterra ★★★★★

What you get
Fabrico is a cloud-based MES and OEE platform for manufacturers.
The OEE dashboard updates while the line runs. Each machine shows its overall equipment effectiveness split into availability, performance and quality, so you can see which of the three is pulling the score down.
OEE is never higher than its weakest factor. When availability holds up but performance drops, the shift lead checks cycle speed before calling maintenance.
For a first estimate before a demo, the OEE calculator prices the gap between your current OEE and your target.
Each stop on a connected machine is recorded with the time it started and how long it lasted. Operators tag the cause of each stop on a tablet or phone, so downtime by cause builds up shift after shift instead of in a spreadsheet at the end of the week.
That gives your engineers the data for a root cause analysis: which stop, how often, how long and on which shift. For stop reasons and availability in detail, see our downtime tracking software.
OEE, availability, performance and quality figures open in the browser on a desktop or a phone, and Fabrico also runs as iOS and Android apps. A plant manager can check a line from a desk in the office or from a phone on the shop floor.
Supervisors and managers work from one set of figures. The morning meeting starts from the numbers, not from collecting them.
Production monitoring software shows the people who run the shift what each connected line is doing right now. Production tracking takes the count from the machine signal or a line camera, so nobody writes totals on a board every hour.
Line status: running or stopped, how long the current stop has lasted and its cause once the operator tags it.
Live output: units produced on each line so far in the shift, updated as the counts come in.
Shift results: output, stops and OEE per shift, so the incoming shift knows where the last one ended.
Multi-plant view: your plants side by side on one screen, with reports that compare them.
Production monitoring tells you what is happening now. OEE tells you how much of the shift was lost and where, and both come from the same machine data.
A supervisor who sees a line standing still can go there during the stop. Nobody has to wait for the end-of-shift report to find out.
Fabrico calculates OEE from data collected at the machine, not from figures typed in after the shift. Counts and stops carry the time they were recorded, so any figure on the dashboard can be traced to the shift it came from.
Each machine is connected in the way that suits it, and one plant can mix the three options below.
Automated lines: Fabrico reads cycles, stops and output from the line's PLC.
Older or semi-automated machines: a Fabrico IoT device with external sensors collects the production signal.
Manual or hybrid steps: AI cameras count output and detect cycles where there is no machine signal. See how computer vision works.
Every source feeds the same OEE calculation, so lines connected in different ways can be compared side by side. The machine registry gives each connected machine its own record and files, so each signal lands on the right machine.
Our machine monitoring software page covers each connection option and the installation.

Or start with a pilot, in four moves
A pilot site is operational in days, with minimal disruption to your teams.
Fits the systems, sites and standards you already have
Designed for manufacturing groups: integrated with your IT and OT, secure by design and simple enough for every shift.
Connects to ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle for full asset lifecycle management, and to the OT layer through PLCs, sensors and cameras.
ISO-certified company and solution, with role-based access control on every asset and financial record.
Standardize across plants, compare sites and meet group-level requirements from one central platform.
Being part of an international group, the requirements that come from group level to our production are already available in Fabrico, way ahead. With Fabrico, all our needs are covered and even exceeded.
Valentin Alexandrov · Transformation Manager, SchaefflerThe questions every plant asks first
Yes. Older machines get an IoT device with external sensors, and manual stations can use cameras that count output.
A pilot line is live in days. Training is live and on site, and support responds in under 2 hours.
Fabrico is a light MES: machine data collection, production monitoring, OEE and downtime analytics, and integration with SAP and other ERP systems. Job dispatching, BOMs, routings and genealogy stay in your ERP.
Certified to ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 20000-1, with EU hosting on AWS and role-based access.
OEE software measures how much of the planned production time a machine turns into good units. It multiplies availability, performance and quality and shows the result per machine, line and shift.
Fabrico takes the times and counts from the machines and the stop causes from the operators. The formula, with worked examples, is in our guide to OEE calculation.
Yes. On a machine with no usable controller, Fabrico fits an IoT device with external sensors, so neither a new machine nor a new PLC is needed.
Hand assembly stations without any machine signal can be covered by AI cameras that count output. Which option fits each machine is agreed with the Fabrico team before installation.
With Fabrico, installing and connecting the devices on your machines takes about one month. Configuration, data checks and training follow, and the full rollout is complete in 3 to 4 months.
Training is given live and on site. Support works by email and by phone callback, and responds in under 2 hours.
Yes. Fabrico syncs both ways with SAP PM and connects to SAP S/4HANA, while Microsoft Dynamics or Oracle can be linked through a custom integration.
Other systems connect through webhooks, the REST API or Zapier. Any list can be exported to Excel or CSV, and data can be imported in bulk from Excel.
Fabrico holds ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 20000-1 certificates, and a data processing agreement sets out how your data is handled under GDPR.
Data is hosted on AWS in the EU, encrypted in transit and at rest, and backed up daily.
Role-based access control sets who can see and change what, and the audit log records who changed it. SSO with SAML is available as a custom integration.
No. OEE software measures where each machine loses time and output, while a full manufacturing execution system (MES) also plans, dispatches and traces production orders.
In practice, OEE software answers what went wrong on a line, and a full MES also decides what runs next and in which order. Fabrico does the first part today.
Find out what your losses cost. Recover the output you already own.
Most customers reach ROI in 3 months. See your own losses with a price tag in a live demo, or start with a focused pilot on one representative line.
More detail
Every figure below comes from the same machine data, so OEE, downtime and maintenance never disagree.
See our downtime tracking software for how stops and reasons are captured.
Fabrico is the monitoring and OEE layer of an MES. That is the part that tells you what each machine did, shift by shift, and where the time went.
Included: machine data collection, production monitoring and tracking, OEE and downtime analytics, a built-in CMMS, plus integration with SAP and other ERP systems.
On our roadmap: production planning and scheduling, which are not part of Fabrico yet.
Not included: job dispatching, BOMs and routings, and product genealogy. Plants that need them keep them in their ERP or another system.
If a stop turns out to need maintenance, a technician opens a work order from the stop. The repair, the spare parts used and the time to fix are saved on that machine's record, which feeds MTTR and MTBF.
Preventive maintenance plans, a maintenance calendar and a spare parts catalog with min and max stock levels are part of the Fabrico CMMS.
