OEE Software for Electronics Manufacturing and SMT LinesOne stop holds up every board. See which machine, live.

Fabrico measures OEE on SMT lines, from the screen printer to the reflow oven and test stations, using machine signals. Maintenance is built in.

  • PLC, IoT sensor or camera
  • Micro-stops detected automatically
  • ISO/IEC 27001

Micro-stops at pick and place

A mis-pick or a sticking board halts a placement machine for seconds. Nobody writes it down. Fabrico totals these stops per machine.

Downtime tracking on SMT lines

Each stop on a connected machine is logged from its signal, and the operator picks the cause on a tablet beside the line.

Feeder changes for each new board

Stops tagged as changeovers show changeover time per line, apart from breakdowns. Waiting for a reel is its own cause.

Changeover: feeder reels

Waiting: components

Breakdown: reflow oven

Example causes, not a screen capture

Connect SMT and test equipment

One line can mix connection types. Every type feeds the same OEE dashboard.

PLC: where the controller gives data

IoT sensor: older wave solder, test station

Camera: hand soldering, box build

Example setup, agreed per machine

FAQs

How long does a rollout take?

With hardware, installing and connecting the devices takes about 1 month, and the full rollout takes 3 to 4 months.

Is Fabrico a full MES?

No. Fabrico covers the monitoring and OEE side of MES: machine data, downtime, OEE and the maintenance work that follows. Production planning and scheduling is on our roadmap and is not part of the product today.

Does Fabrico trace components to each board?

No. Fabrico is the monitoring and OEE layer of MES. Component and board traceability is not part of it.

More detail

Rejects, built-in maintenance and test stops

Failed boards lower the quality figure of the line that built them, on the OEE dashboard, so a fast line with many rejects shows a lower OEE. Stops at AOI and test get their own causes. If a stop needs a technician, the operator raises a work order from it. PM plans, spare parts, and MTTR and MTBF per machine sit in the same app. Our calculator prices your production losses.

Multi-plant, ERP, IT and security

A group account brings several plants into one view with cross-plant reports. Bidirectional sync with SAP PM and integration with SAP S/4HANA; Dynamics, Oracle and other ERPs connect through a custom integration. REST API, webhooks and Zapier; SSO through SAML as a custom integration; audit log. The PLC link speaks OPC UA, Modbus, PROFIBUS, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP and EtherCAT. ISO/IEC 27001, GDPR with a DPA, hosting in the AWS EU region. Compare tools in our OEE software guide.
