Option 1 — Existing Machine Connectivity (PLCs)

Use your existing infrastructure.
Fabrico connects directly to existing PLCs or automation systems to capture real-time signals such as cycle start, stop, and downtime events. Integration can be performed by your internal automation team, your preferred partner, or the Fabrico integration team.
This is the fastest path to achieving full OEE visibility on already digitalized lines.

Option 2 — Fabrico IoT Device with External Sensors

Add connectivity where it doesn’t exist.
For legacy or semi-automated equipment, Fabrico provides IoT gateways and external optical sensors to collect production signals. Installations can be handled fully by the Fabrico team or configured to your specific requirements. This solution ensures standardized and scalable data acquisition across all assets — new or old.

Option 3 — Production Output via Computer Vision

Capture what sensors can’t.
In areas where traditional sensors face limitations, Fabrico deploys computer vision and AI models to recognize and count production output. Cameras detect cycles, changeovers, and operator activities in real time, ensuring full visibility even in manual or hybrid operations. This technology bridges the gap between automation and human processes.

Implementation Process and Timeline

Each connectivity project follows Fabrico’s structured OEE implementation roadmap.
After an initial process analysis, device installation and integration are completed within approximately one month.
Data import, configuration, and user training follow in the next phases — achieving full deployment within 3–4 months under the guidance of a dedicated automation engineer and account manager.
The result: a connected, data-driven production environment delivering measurable improvements in efficiency and availability.
