New Funding Opportunity under the “Regional Development” Programme 2021-2027 for Large Enterprises in Stara Zagora Region

Fabrico is pleased to announce the opening of a grant procedure under the “Regional Development” Programme 2021-2027, aimed at supporting production investments in large enterprises located in the Stara Zagora region and adjacent municipalities.

Projects eligible for funding in collaboration with Fabrico:

• Implementation of a complete Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) tracking system with Fabrico OEE license
• Deployment of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) with Fabrico CMMS license
• Introduction of IIoT technologies and Artificial Intelligence for manufacturing process optimisation
• Other projects related to production process digitisation and modernisation

Programme key parameters:

• Total budget: BGN 462.7 million
• Project duration: up to 30 months, but no later than 31.12.2029
• Application deadline: 28 November 2025
• Funding range: BGN 1 million, BGN 20 million
• Eligible applicants: Large enterprises with production/logistics facilities in Stara Zagora or the municipalities of Nova Zagora, Yambol, Simeonovgrad, Harmanli, Topolovgrad, Dimitrovgrad, Haskovo, Elhovo, Sliven, Tundzha; with net sales revenue ≥ BGN 1 million for 2021-2023 combined.

Eligible activities and costs:

• Investments in new or expanded production capacity, product diversification, major process overhaul
• Investments in renewable energy, including hydrogen
• Business plan development, investment project preparation, project management and communication
• Acquisition of machinery, equipment, software, construction works, land purchase (up to 10%), indirect costs up to 7%
