Integrated OEE+CMMS enables a COO accountability model that discrete OEE and maintenance metrics cannot support. The accountability model has three components.
Performance target setting: OEE targets and maintenance cost per unit targets are set at group level and cascade to site level, with integrated data confirming whether targets are being met.
Without integrated data, targets in OEE and maintenance are set independently and there is no mechanism to connect maintenance investment decisions to OEE outcome targets.
